Advertisement for sentry and police dogs trained and supplied by Major Edwin Richardson, the renowned dog trainer, who in 1917, would set up the highly successful British War Dog School at Shoeburyness. Photograph included shows a soldier posing with an Airedale terrier, Richardson's preferred breed for this kind of work.
