Description Manufacture of the Croix de Guerre
Details

The Croix de Guerre (French verision to Cross of War), military decoration of France during World War One and Two. It was first created in 1915 and consists of a square-cross medal on two crossed swords, hanging from a ribbon with various degree pins. Photographs showing the last treatment, metal being polished with fine sand, and then the finished Croix de Guerre with ribbon.
