'A trick without a title', Maskelyne and Devant stage magicians are offering £50 for the best title for their trick. In the course of the trick a man is bound to an iron frame in such a way that he cannot move his hands, body or legs. He is put into a cupboard, which is hoisted up clear of the stage. The doors of the cupboard are then closed. When they are opened, something has happened buy Messrs. Maskelyne and Devant wish to keep the climax of the trick as a surprise to their audience.
