Details |
Veiled in the wraiths of flowers: Milady of the Perfumes by Erte. As Milady lets the drops of perfume fall on to her snowy white dress, a brilliant atmosphere rises around her, The wraiths of the flowers whose sweetness has been distilled for her pleasure veil her white wilhoustte, and the brilliant hues recall the actual blooming of those blossoms, which was a riot of colour such as Erte depicts as the frame of his picture.
