Miss Margaret Whigham, later Mrs Charles Sweeny and then Duchess of Argyll, pictured with her parents Mr and Mrs George Hay Whigham at a a ball they held at their house, Queen's Hill, near Ascot in July 1931. The Tatler describes Margaret (Deb of the Year in 1930 no less) as 'most attractive, whose complexion is the envy of all and sundry'.
