Miss Muriel Wilson, daughter of the shipping magnate Arthur Wilson (who was also a friend of the Prince of Wales and owned Tranby Croft, scene of the famous royal baccarat scandal). She was a love interest of Winston Churchill who proposed marriage to her in 1904. Pictured in The Lady's Realm in 1900.
