Miss Arnold in doggy fancy dress for The Sketch Club Ball in an outfit that pays homage to Bonzo, the cartoon dog created by artist George Studdy. Bonzo rapidly gained popularity during 1922 and was eventually named in November that year. At the time of this photograph, he was still known simply as the 'Studdy Dog.'
