Explorer F.A Mitchell Hedges(1882 - 1959), smoking a pipe, and his companion Lady Richmond Brown examine a stuffed armadillo thoughtfully before setting out on their latest expedition to the Mayan ruins of Lubaantun at British Honduras(today Belize). The lizards and armadillos were obtained on a visit to Central America.
