Scene within one of the Royal Academy of Arts' galleries as the porters manoevre paintings prior to their hanging, 1887. At the bottom of the image one of the porters rises up from the basement, on a lift, with a large number of paintings. This image was originally entitled 'The Royal Academy - The Hurly Burly'.
