Engagement of American golfer Charles Sweeney to society darling Miss Margaret Whigham in November 1932. As Mrs Charles Sweeney, Margaret was feted and even name checked by Cole Porter in the song, 'You're the Top.' She would later marry the Duke of Argyll and be plunged into scandal during her 1963 divorce case.
