Mr. W. A. Robinson, C.B,. Air Council Secretary in 1918 for the newly-formed Royal Air Force. Previously Assistant Secretary of H.M. Office of Works, after some years spent in the Colonial Office where he became Secretary to the Dominions Royal Commission. He had a distinguished university career, being a Scholar of Queen's College, Oxford, then taken first place in the Civil Service Examination.
