Mrs Charles Sweeny (1912-1993), formerly Miss Margaret Whigham and later Margaret, Duchess of Argyll, pictured in American Red Cross uniform to illustrate an autobiographical feature about her in The Tatler. She divorced her American golfer husband in the same year this was published.
