Description Mrs Morrison-Bell as Oak for Nymphs of Forest tableau

Mrs Morrison-Bell pictured wearing a gown designed by Elspeth Phelps for the Nymphs of the Forest tableau featuring a number of society women, part of the Petticoat Fair and Tombola held at the Albert Hall in December 1917 in aid of the Concerts at the Front Fund. Phelps, a leading London couturier, conceived the idea for the tableau and designed all the costumes.
