Phyllis Helen Satterthwaite (née Carr; 1886 –1962) female tennis player from Great Britain who was active from the early 1910s until the late 1930s. From the 1920s she lived almost permanently on the French Riviera where she was a prominent member of society. Pictured here at the fashionable sunbathing resort of Eden Roc, Cap d'Antibes wearing a beach suit of sleeveless 'jumper' top and wide trousers in a sailor style.
