Mrs Sprott, daughter of Sir George and Lady Berry of Drumsheugh Gardens, Edinburgh, pictured in her uniform as a driver of Red Cross ambulances in France. Her husband was in the Cameron Highlanders and her father, a major in the Royal Army Medical corps, was honorary surgical oculist to King George V.
