Details

At Brienne, Napoleon is surprised by a band of Cossacks, only narrowly avoiding capture. The Battle of Brienne (fought on January 29th 1814), resulted in the victory of Emperor Napoleon I's French forces over the Russian and Prussian forces commanded by the Prussian Generalfeldmarschall Prince von Blucher.
