Obelisk on the battlefield of Naseby, Northamptonshire, where on 14 July 1645 Cromwell and Fairfax inflicted a decisive defeat on the Royalist army of Charles I, despite a brave charge by Prince Rupert, which was recklessly carried too far to carry the day.
