Neville Chamberlain (1869 - 1940), British Prime Minister, waving goodbye as he boards an airplane at Heston, England on his way to Godesberg to meet Adolf Hitler, Germany's Fuhrer, to hold talks regarding the Sudetenland. Chamberlain's policy of 'appeasement' was fiercely opposed by Winston Churchill.
