A fancy dress costume suggesting a late Victorian party goer dress as a Normandy peasant. Her costume comprises of a dress with a brightly coloured petticoat, a contrasting tunic and a bodice worn over a linen chemisette. The vertiginous hat with the upstanding crown is covered with rows of lace and bows of ribbon with a voluminous veil. Not terribly practical in houses with low ceilings.
