Description | Origin Species, CH Bennett, Fool - donkey |
Details |
What makes your ears so long'?. Satire on Darwin's 'Origin of Species' showing the evolution of a fool, from a dead goose, via a donkey. Whilst making a complete ass of himself, too earnestly engaged in listening to his own voice to think of anyone else, the fool's ear's grow and before long has evolved into a donkey. At the point of crying out 'he-haw', his head flys off from his body in the form of a goose, that quickly dies to the ground.
