Description | Origin Species, CH Bennett, man of finance - shark |
Details |
'All's fish that comes'. Satire on Darwin's 'Origin of Species' showing the evolution of man of finance from a shark. Shark fins have developed into a swallow-tail coat, his own tail into a pair of legs. He is an auditor, a treasurer, a tax man or maybe works in the loan office. The pile of papers on his desk (mortgages, bankruptcy papers, loans etc) transform into food for the shark that swims above, ready to devour.
