Description Oswald Mosley as a giraffe by George Whitelaw
Details

Sir Oswald Ernald Mosley, 6th Baronet (1896-1980), British right-wing politician, founder and leader of the British Union of Fascists (BUF) caricatured as a giraffe, one of a series by the artist George Whitelaw who likened famous personalities to various wild animals. The caption assures the readers that the fact that the artist has shown him in the guise of the giraffe must not be taken to mean that he considers Sir Oswald has the neck for anything!
