Description | Paris, France - Bagatelle, near Bois de Boulogne. |
Details |
Paris, France - Bagatelle, near Bois de Boulogne. This parc was ironically called Bagatelle, which means bauble, by reference to its considerable cost (around 4 million). The park and its castle were built in only sixty-four days, as a result of a bet between Marie-Antoinette and the Comte d'Artois.
