Participants in a first-rate prancing party at Ardenrun House, Surrey, held to celebrate he British victory in the Grand Prix d'Endurance (June, 1929), where Captain Barnato (the owner of Ardenrun) and Mr Birkin drove the winning Bentley. From left: Mr Guy Puckle, Mr Dufee, Mr Ruben, Mr M Greville, Earl Howe, P.C. and Mr G. Joel. In the photograph to the right can be seen Mr Allom, Miss Betty Chester and Mr P.G. Fender, captain of the Surrey XI, "adding to the hilarity of the occasion".
