Paul Alfred Rubens (1875 - 1917), English composer who wrote some of the most popular musicals of the Edwardian era. During the First World War, he wrote the patriotic song, Your King and Country Need You, regularly performed by Vesta Tilley. He died prematurely, from tuberculosis, at the age of 41.
