A map detailing the agreements put in place by the Entente Cordiale between Britain and France in 1904. Essentially aimed at resolving disputes over colonial territories, it also ushered in a new era of alliance, which had particular significance when World War I broke out. Also in the picture are portraits of the signatories; Paul Cambon (French ambassador), Lord Lansdowne (the British signatory) and Delcasse (French Minister for Foreign Affairs).
