The cartoon follows a photographer explaining and poking fun at the posing machine used when capturing portraits in a studio.He comments on getting people to sit for a photograph is an art form in itself and chooses to demonstrate this it the older gentleman. They eventually choose for the man to sit without the aid of the machine after commenting on the unnatural poses it creates.
