Black and white photographs in the Sketch of Miss Nina Payne, a popular dancer, giving her Egyptian Temple dance at the Coliseum, London. The dance was described as 'angular yet decorative poses which are characteristic of ancient Egyptian art, and actually achieves the effect of an Egyptian frieze'.
