Details

The initial plan for the Metropolitan Railway. The railway begins opposite the Great Western Railway Hotel at Paddington, passing through King's Cross on to Farringdon. The Metropolitan Railway was the first in the world, in 1868 extensions were made from South Kensington to Westminster.
