Elephants plunging into the tank at the London Hippodrome, the climactic scene at the London Hippodrome during their Christmas production for 1903-4 'The Golden Princess and the Elephant Hunters'. Fourteen elephants ascended a ramp and then slid down a chute into the arena's tank below.
