Details |
The young Prince Arthur, Duke of Brittany, is murdered on the orders of his uncle, King John. Arthur had at one time been the preferred successor of King Richard, but on his deathbed Richard chose John instead as Arthur was still young. Imprisoned in the Chateau de Falaise in 1202, Arthur disappeared in April 1203 and many saw John's hand in his death.
