Prince Louis Alexander of Battenberg (1854-1921), photographed in 1912 on succeeding Sir Francis Bridgeman as First Sea Lord of the Admiralty. Louis married Princess Victoria of Hesse, Princess Alice's eldest daughter in 1884 and is the grandfather of the current Prince Philip.
