The Prince of Wales, later King Edward VIII, then Duke of Windsor, pictured at fashionable French resort, Le Touquet in 1930 with his favourite girl caddy, Adolphine Lamour. Le Touquet's golf course was famous for employing young, female caddies. On this occasion the Prince took part in the Turf Club handicap tournament, in which he was beaten by Colonel R. E. Myddelton, of Chrik Castle, North Wales.
