Alexandra, Duchess of Fife (1891-1959). Alexandra was the elder daughter of Princess Louise of Wales, Duchess of Fife; after her father's death at Aswan in 1912 she was allowed to inherit the Fife dukedom in her own right. She was generally known as Princess Arthur of Connaught after her marriage to her cousin, Prince Arthur of Connaught.
