Photograph of the Queen Elizabeth (b. 1926) when Princess Elizabeth, together with her sister Princess Margaret in the grounds of Buckingham Palace. Elizabeth was patrol leader of the palace girl guide company and on this occasion, sent a message to Lady Baden-Powell by carrier-pigeon with a message to mark, 'Thinking Day', also the birthday of Lord Robert Baden-Powell.
