PRINCESS HELENA VICTORIA Princess Helena Victoria of Schleswig-Holstein (1870-1948), daughter of Princess Helena & Prince Christian, grandaughter of Queen Victoria. Known, rather cruelly, among the family as 'Snipe' on account of her long nose and face when she was younger. She never married but was a popular and active member of the royal family, enjoying golf and dogs in her leisure time. He she is playing golf at North Berwick with Sir Courtauld Thomson.
