Illustration depicting the moment Princess Marina of Greece left Buckingham Palace in her horse drawn landau carriage for Westminster Abbey and her marriage to Prince George, Duke of Kent. Crowds had gathered in front of the Palace since dawn around the Queen Victoria Memorial and on either side of the police lined processional route.
