The cast included Mrs Patrick Campbell as Eliza Doolittle, Edmund Gurney as Alfred Doolittle and Sir Herbert Tree as Professor Higgins. The Sketch dubbed it Bernard Shaw's 'naughty word play' as Eliza utters the word "bloody" much to the amusement of the audience who were not used to hearing bad language on the stage.
