Queen Mary, accompanied by Prince Albert (later George VI) and Princess Mary, at an inspection of troops near Aldershot, Hants. While on a visit to the Western front in 1915, George V fell from his horse and broke his pelvis. During his recuperation, Queen Mary carried out many war-related duties.
