Photograph showing Dublin youngsters on the corner of Liffey Street where two protestors were shot by soldiers in the Kings Own Scottish Borders. Following centuries of unrest over Britain's dominion in Ireland, home rule legislation was soon to be introduced in Ireland in 1914. The outbreak of World War I only a few days later prevented the restoration of a Dublin parliament.
