Details |
Rocket typhoons versus German tanks: how the RAF and the Army cooperate in smashing enemy armour during the Second World War. The RAF officer (centre foreground) gives wireless instructions to a group of rocket-firing typhoons to attack enemy tanks emerging from a wood in the distance. To help the typhoons identify their target when diving, the Artillery plants coloured smoke shells.
