Description Reopening of the Little Theatre, 1920
Details

Feature in The Sphere reporting on the reopening of the Little Theatre, Adelphi, London which opened its doors in 1920 after it had been destroyed in a bombing raid on 4 September 1917. It had been used as a YMCA centre for soldiers during the war until that point. The new theatre was opened on 19 February 1920 under the management of Messrs. Vedrenne and Vernon, showing a new play by Edward Knoblock.
