Details |
Seven British officers on the Roll of Honour who were killed in the early days of the First World War. They are: Major C S Holland (Royal Field Artillery), Major C A L Yate, Lieutenant G C Wynne, Captain A C G Luther (all of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry), Lieutenant M F Broadwood (Royal West Kent Regiment), Lieutenant Viscount Hawarden (Coldstream Guards), and Major F Swetenham (2nd Dragoons).
