Drawing showing Royal Engineers and men of the Pioneer Corps, under Government orders, busily unloading ships in Surrey Docks, London, August 1945. These men were drafted into Surrey docks to take over the work of the usual dockers, who were in the middle of an eight week 'Go slow' strike due to a pay dispute.
