Details

Royal motor barge leading four motor torpedo boats down the River Thames, near Blackfriars, London, 1937. King George VI, with Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary, was travelling on board the barge to Greenwich, to open the National Maritime Museum. The Training Ship 'President' is visible, left background, moored off the embankment.
