Prince Edward of Wales (future Edward VIII) shown as he arrived in Hamilton, Bermuda, coming from the dock to the carriage, accompanied by F.G Roundthwaite, Superintendent of the Mid-Ocean Golf Club, with Mr. Frederick Hamilton(assistant to the Superintendent), at the rear. The gentleman with the cane is the Hon. Bettington, Chief of Police. The Prince of Wales and his brother George arrived in Bermuda on their first leg of their journey to South America. Later, Edward would become known as the Duke of Windsor, following his abdication as King to marry Wallis Simpson, and his brother George would become King George VI.
