Princess Maud of Wales, youngest daughter of King Edward VII and Prince Carl (Charles) of Denmark (later King Haakon VII) depart from Buckingham Palace in a horse drawn carriage following their marriage in the Private Chapel of the palace on 27 July 1896. Crowds of well wishers line the route to cheer the newlyweds.
