Scene at the wedding ceremony of Princess Alice of Albany, later Countess of Athlone (1883-1981) and Prince Alexander of Teck, later Alexander Cambridge, 1st Earl of Athlone (1874-1957). The wedding took place on 10 February 1904 at St George's Chapel, Windsor. The Archbishop of Canterbury officiated. Behind the couple are three young bridesmaids: Princess Helen of Waldeck-Pyrmont (age 5), Princess Mary of Wales (age 7), and Princess Mary of Teck (age 7). The two older bridesmaids behind them are Princess Margaret and Princess Patricia of Connaught. King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra are also present.
