Illustration depicting the pronouncement of the Benediction during the wedding ceremony of Prince George, Duke of Kent and Princess Marina of Greece, showing the Archbishiop of Canterbury with hand upraised above the heads of the bride and bridegroom. The Royal couple are kneeling on two beautifully embroidered cushions and the four and a half yard train of the new Duchess of Kent's wedding dress is held by Princess Elizabeth of York (the future Queen Elizabeth II) and Lady Mary Cambridge. On the extreme right and third from right are the Archbishop of York and the Dean of Westminster, both clad in copes of elaborate design.
