Lady Alice Montague Douglas Scott, leaving 2 Grosvenor Place in the Royal glass coach to travel to Buckingham Palace for her marriage to Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester in the Private Chapel on 6 November 1935. The wedding was originally intended to be held in Westminster Abbey but the recent death of the bride's father saw the ceremony moved to the Palace chapel.
